Expense Man

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Expense Man ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the developer of Expense Man.

License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on your personal Android device(s) solely for your private, non-commercial expense tracking purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App to:

• Store or manage financial data belonging to others without authorization
• Engage in any fraudulent or unlawful activity
• Interfere with the App's intended offline functionality

Optional Google Drive Backup

The App offers an optional backup feature using Google Drive. When enabled:

• Data is encrypted on your device (AES-256) before upload
• Backups are stored only in the app's private Application Data folder
• We have no access to your backups or Google account
• You are solely responsible for enabling, managing, and securing this feature

Google's terms apply to your use of Google Drive. We are not responsible for Google's service availability, security, or data loss.

No Warranty

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is zero, as it is free).

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license to use the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Upon uninstallation, all local data is removed from your device (subject to any backups you created).

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the App and/or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Kerala, India.
